What Is PRP Microneedling?
PRP microneedling is a non-surgical, minimally invasive process to encourage natural healing processes for skin rejuvenation. It combines the creation of microchannels on the skin with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to encourage tissue production or strengthening.

What Could I Expect From A Treatment Session?
The first step in the PRP microneedling process is harvesting PRP. This begins with a traditional blood draw. This sample is placed in a special centrifuge. As the centrifuge spins at a rapid rate, it isolates the plasma from the rest of the blood. The golden yellow substance is then prepared for treatment.
Once PRP is obtained, the microneedling process can begin. A device is used to create microchannels on the skin, and PRP is massaged into the area. The process of creating the channels triggers your natural healing processes, and the PRP enhances your growth processes.

How long does the procedure take?The procedure takes 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the area treated. Some patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours. After treatment you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This is normal and will subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally recover within the same day or 24 hours.
